IT company accuses Humble pet business of contract breach
An IT solutions company in Memorial is suing after, it says, a pet care business in Humble failed to pay, as promised, for equipment and services.
Cognetic Networks, Inc., of Memorial, filed a lawsuit on Aug. 16 in the Harris County District Court against Parks 10 Group and Humble’s Pet Paradise, citing breach of contract.
Cognetic Networks says that it agreed to provide IT services and computer and security equipment for Parks 10's “Airport Pet Parks” business, located at 7117 Will Clayton Parkway in Humble. According to the brief, Parks 10 failed to pay Cognetic in full for its services and recently sold its business, including Cognetic’s equipment, to Pet Paradise.
Cognetic is seeking damages, attorney’s fees and court costs. It is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Jeffrey Gilman.
