Ball event held to benefit Devine Prom Project

A faith-based nonprofit recently held a fundraiser to benefit high school seniors in need of prom dresses.
Devine Creations Debutante/Beautillions hosted its fifth annual Cotillion Ball on March 4 to benefit the Devine Prom Project 201l.
Devine Creations, a nonprofit founded by Verna Caddie, strives to help teens overcome the many obstacles they face in today's society. This organization understand that girls and boys are confronted with negative influences such as drug abuse, sex, bullying and alcohol just to name a few, crippling youths before they can learn to stand, according to the press release.
Money raised from this cotillion will benefit high school seniors by providing them with free prom gowns. Devine Creations will host its second annual Devine Prom Project 2011 Boutique Day on April 16.
