In preparation for the March Mart at Mercer Arboretum & Botanic Gardens, a Kingwood couple spends hundreds of hours a year making sure plants are correctly identified with botanical and common names as well as optimum growing conditions.

A committee of Humble Independent School District parents has formed to advocate for gifted students, hoping to improve communication within the district and educate decision-makers about the needs of such pupils.

Due to spring break, the Kingwood Area Republican Women will meet one week later, Wednesday, March 24, at 11 a.m. at Kingwood Country Club.
