On Aug. 7, the Kingwood/Humble community will join together with hundreds of others to help assist the family of 16-yr-old Rachel Zientek, with their mounting medical expenses as she fights to recover from a fiery plane crash in Alaska that has left her with burns on a large percentage of her body and other very serious injuries.

Northeast Hospital Foundation President Norman Funderburk and Devon Alexander, "In the Pink Of Health" co-chair, recently accepted a check from the Atascocita Wal-Mart.

On Friday, July 9, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., the Fuddruckers at 4360 Kingwood Dr. will donate a portion of its dine-in profits to the National Foundation for Transplants in honor of Kingwood resident Kevin Spencer.
