    Neighbors of a Huffman-area man who said he was acting in self-defense when he shot and killed a neighbor and wounded two others , described him as someone whose demeanor could flip from a friendly talker during a walk into a gun-flashing bully who shouted expletives and racial epithets from his car.

    The Lake Houston Area Chamber of Commerce has introduced its new logo. And with the new logo comes a new name. The group, which was originally named the Humble Area Chamber of Commerce, has worked Lake Houston into its name.

    Kingwood High School's Madrigal Choir will entertain at a free holiday concert at Kings Harbor on Friday, Dec. 18, from 7-10 p.m. The Leslie Doak Band and Christian recording artist Christi Harper will also perform. The concert is presented by Keller Williams Realty Northeast.
