Pro Baseball: Christopher Corrigan, Palm Beach Cardinals

Christopher Corrigan pitched one inning, striking out two and allowing one earned run Wednesday in the Palm Beach Cardinals's 5-1 loss at the Fort Myers Miracle. Corrigan graduated from Humble High School.

Corrigan is a 2006 graduate of Humble High School. He played two seasons (2007 and 2008) at San Jacinto College. After his freshman campaign (2007) Corrigan was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 18th round (565th overall) of the 2007 Major League Baseball draft. He did not sign and returned to San Jacinto for his sophomore season (2008). Corrigan transferred to Ole Miss for his junior season (2009) and made only four appearances for the Rebels due to injury. He had no record and an 11.42 ERA in 8.2 innings pitched. He was selected by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 30th round (909th overall) of the 2009 MLB draft.
