Mutt Strut and 5K Runway Race gains popularity
“The 2010 Mutt Strut has attracted 500 more registered participants than last year. We have more than 2,000 participants today and the walk-ins have not been counted,” said Patti Mercer, president of Houston SPCA.
Through the generosity of SPCA supporters and Mutt Strut participants more than $150,000 has been raised.
The proceeds from the Mutt Strut and Runway Race bring together many SPCA rescue animals and their owners, and provides for animals in need of adoption.
