An idea by three local elementary pupils to help Haiti will become a reality on Saturday.
Carolyn Grace, Katherine Holmes and Clayton Holmes will set up a lemonade and cookie stand on the Fall Creek Elementary playground from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. The dollars and the change collected will go to Haiti relief.
After coming up with the idea, the three pupils met with their parents. The idea then went to Principal Cathy Airola. And on Saturday, the public will get to see the pupils' plan in action.
I don't know about you, but I'm impressed. I'm hoping for a nice turnout from our community on Saturday.
