Last week, a 19-year-old female attempted to steal nearly $200 worth of clothing from the Dillard's located in the 20000 block of U.S. 59, police said.

Detected by by Dillard's employees, the teen was arrested and charged with misdemeanor theft.

The bounty that the suspect failed to make off with included six blouses, officials said.
