Three men and a minor were arrested on charges of theft at the Wal-Mart Supercenter on FM 1960. The incident happened on Tuesday, Nov. 10.
The suspects have each been charged with theft misdemeanors A & B. According to Texas law, a class A misdemeanor theft involves money or goods valued between $500 and $1,500. A class B misdemeanor theft involves valuations between $50 and $500 in goods or money, or $20 to $500 if the theft involves a fake check.
It was immediately unclear if the theft charges involved real stolen goods or fake checks, or whether the thefts were committed in the Wal-Mart store, pharmacy or Woodforest Bank branch.
Wal-Mart management declined to comment on the event.
The three adult suspects were ages 26, 27 and 44. The minor involved was a 17-year-old white female.
